For the past 15 years Lisa Whyte has been involved in elected public service roles for North Shore City and Auckland Council. She is currently the Deputy Chair of Upper Harbour Local Board of Auckland Council, and has previously been the Chair.
Lisa worked in the Finance sector in Europe and New Zealand before making the switch in professional focus to elected public service. Lisa trained as a Management Accountant, has a Diploma in Corporate Treasury and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Politics.
Lisa is also an accredited Resource Consent Commissioner and has been involved in several hearings including Special Housing area hearings in Auckland’s North-West. Lisa is studying towards a Post-Graduate Diploma in Development Studies.
Lisa worked for several Shell Operating Companies for 10 years in a variety of finance roles. Her last role with Shell was as Business Analyst in a multinational team working on an SAP system implementation across seven countries. Lisa worked for Shell in England, Scotland and The Netherlands.
Lisa has been involved in many volunteer roles at various sports clubs her children belong to, as well as a past Board Member for Netball North Harbour and the Northern Auckland Kindergarten Association.
